Dr Rodrigo España, director of Andrología Málaga, had a prominent participation in the 89th National Urology Congress, held from 10 to 12 June 2026 at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid, under the slogan “The future of urology starts here.”
This congress, one of the most important events in Spanish urology, brought together specialists from across the country to share knowledge, scientific advances and clinical experience in the main areas of the specialty.
Dr Rodrigo España’s presence in different sessions of the scientific programme reflects Andrología Málaga’s commitment to medical updating, continuous training and excellence in the care of men’s urological and andrological health.

During the congress, Dr Rodrigo España took part in several sessions of high clinical and scientific interest.
On Wednesday 10 June, he participated as moderator in the session “BPH in 2026: consolidating knowledge and looking to the future,” focused on the latest developments in the management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, one of the most common urological conditions in men.
On Thursday 11 June, he was one of the directors of Plenary Session VI: “Andrology and functional, female and urodynamic urology: technique, decisions and outcomes in real-life practice,” a session aimed at analysing decision-making, current techniques and results in daily clinical practice.
In addition, on Friday 12 June, he took part in the session “Digital Health Office and Healthcare Network: alliances that add value,” together with Ignacio Alcalá, addressing the role of digital health, healthcare collaboration and new models of integrated care in modern medicine.
